Booking Faqs and Useful Information

Will you send us a contract?
When you book a Stiltwalker through Streetentertainers both you and the stiltwalking act will be asked to sign a simple contract which clearly states the performance dates, performance times and the type of act you have engaged. Our contract terms & conditions include straightforward cancellation clauses.

Where are you based?
We are based in Herefordshire but cover the whole of the UK - our clients range from blue chip corporate companies to local authorities and schools, event companies to village and country fairs and festivals and private individuals. We have many years experience in providing quality entertainment for events of all sizes throughout the UK. You can visit our main site at www.streetents.co.uk

What are your payment terms?
We usually ask you for a deposit when you book the act and the balance payment in full 3 weeks prior to the event - all deposits, advance payments and artists fee's payed to Streetentertainers are held in a reserved Account until the booking is completed.

How long can the performer stay on their stilts
Most stiltwalkers will perform up to a max of 3 x 45 minute sets. They will need a break of between 20 and 30 minutes minimum between sets. You may wish to work to a timetable or go for a more free and easy approach

What else will the Stiltwalkers need?
Streetentertainers will let you know if an Act has specific technical requirements but it's worth thinking about the performance space. Our Stiltwalkers are used to performing in unusual places and can perform on a variety of surfaces but if you have any concerns about suitability of your venue let us know and we will advise you
We will ask you to to provide parking space near to the event (or cover the cost of parking if this is not possible) and make sure someone is there when the entertainers arrive to show them the performance area and give them any last minute instructions. Your Stiltwalkers will normally need a room/space for changing, applying makeup and leaving props and personal items between performances - so the changing facilities need to be private and secure. Light refreshments will be much appreciated.

If you want any advice or require specific information we will be happy to help.
